Are you sure that isn't brick?
Nichiha’s fiber cement panel system is experiencing wide acceptance as an alternative to brick or stone, especially on commercial buildings, restaurants, and multi-family projects. If you walked past a Nichiha wall you would be unlikely to know its not real brick. The secret is in the panel design and the clip system used to install them. Architects and developers are turning to this product because they can achieve the look they want with reduced expense and a faster installation time. Styles are available that replicate typical facades such as brick, stone, cultured stone, and more. Nichiha panels are also versatile; they can be used on interior & exterior walls and can be installed over anything from SIPS panels to steel studs to metal buildings.
Check out this quick animated video to get the basics on how it works.

Her latest post “Corian is Cool” just about sums up everything we like about Corian: it’s low maintenance, it’s a material that can be molded and shaped to any design aesthetic, there are an array of colors, finishes and edge detail varieties, and lastly certain Corian collections reflect designer’s commitment to sustainability.

New Line of Roofing Ventilation Products
Parksite is proud to announce that it now inventories a line of roofing ventilation products from Circulation Solutions™. The product line is currently available through all ten Parksite distribution facilities.
The primary driver for Parksite to pursue the line was the unbeatable combination of quality, innovation, and price structure.
“Since ventilation products are essential to every roofing project, most of our customers stock them in some form or fashion. We have found a quality, value-priced line that, in many cases, reduces SKU count through product versatility and increases turns because it can be purchased in smaller quantities,” said Scott Thomas, Director of Parksite Marketing.
Two featured items will be the 1-2-3 Easy Pull Pipe Boot and the Slope Back Vent. The 1-2-3 Easy Pull Pipe Boot is adjustable so you can reduce your inventory items in this category. The Easy Pull System ensures a tight seal every time and the boot is constructed from a high quality EPDM material so it is a product you can confidently stand behind.
The slope back vent offers 22% more NFA per vent, which means less vents per house. In many cases, it only takes four Slope Back Vents from Circulation Solutions™ to do the job of six competitor vents. All products are maintenance free and easy to install.
